God
There is only one true God, Creator of heaven and earth, who eternally exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Gen. 1:26, Deu. 6:4, Ps. 45:6-7; 110:1, Isa. 45:5-6; 46:9-10, Matthew 3:13-17; 28:17-20, Jn. 17:3, 1 Cor. 8:4-6; 12:4-6, 1 Tim. 2:5).
Jesus
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, was born of a virgin, and is both fully God and fully human (Matt. 1:20, Lk. 2:52, Jn. 1:1-4,14, Col. 1:15-20, Heb. 1:1-3). He died as the sacrificial substitute to pay the penalty for sin (Jn. 1:29; 10:1-18, Rom. 5:8, 1 Cor. 15:1-4, 2 Cor. 5:21, Gal. 1:4, 1 Pet. 3:18). He physically rose from the dead, ascended into heaven and will one day physically return (Matt. 28:1-20, Mk. 16:1-8, Lk. 24:1-53, Jn. 1:20-21:25; 14:3, Acts 1:11, 1 Cor. 15:12-34, 1 Thess. 4:16 Heb. 9:28, 1 Jn. 3:2, Rev. 1:7).
Holy Spirit
All believers are entitled to and should earnestly expect the promise of God the Father through the command of His Son Jesus Christ to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Included in the baptism is the anointing of power, life abundantly, and the reception of gifts for ministerial uses (Lk. 24:49, Acts 1:4,8, 1 Cor. 12:1-31).
The Bible
All Scripture is true, authoritative and sufficient (Ps. 19:7-11, 2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Pet. 1:20-21)
The Church
The Church is the Body of Christ - the habitation of God through the Spirit - with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the Church (Ephesians 1:22,23; 2:22, Heb. 12:23). God’s purpose concerning human beings is to seek and to save that which is lost, to be worshipped by His creation, to build a body of believers in the image of His Son Jesus, and to demonstrate His love and compassion for all the world through the leading and power of the Holy Spirit. She is to be an agency of God for evangelizing the world (Matt. 28:19,20 Mk. 16:15,16, Acts 1:8). She is comprised of a corporate body in which man may worship God (1 Cor. 12:13). She is a channel of God’s purpose to build a body of saints perfected in the image of His Son (Eph. 4:11-16, 1 Cor. 12:28, 1 Cor. 14:12). She represents a people who demonstrate God’s love and compassion for all the world (Ps. 112:9, Gal. 2:10; 6:10, Jm. 1:27).
Holy Communion
The Lord's Supper, consisting of the elements (bread and the fruit of the vine) is the symbol which we express our sharing of the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Pet. 1:4).
Water Baptism
The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded by the Scriptures. All who repent and believe in Christ as Lord and Saviour are to be baptized, declaring to the world that they have died with Christ and have also been raised with Him to walk in newness of life (Matt. 28:19, Mk. 16:16, Acts 10:47,48, Rom. 6:4).
The Human Condition
All humanity is sinful from birth (Gen. 6:5, Ps. 51:5, Jer. 17:9, Rom. 3:23; 5:8,12-21; 7:18, Eph. 2:1-3). The penalty for sin is both physical and spiritual death (Gen. 2:15-17; 3:19, Rom. 5:12; 6:23, Jm. 1:14-15).
Hope
There will be a physical resurrection of the dead and only those who turn from their sin toward Jesus in faith and repentance will receive an eternal reward. Those who do not turn from their sin will be condemned to eternal punishment (Matt. 25:31-46, Jn. 5:28-29, Acts 24:15).
Faith
Through faith alone in the person and work of Jesus Christ coupled with repentance from sin can one be reconciled to God and experience true life (Jn. 3:18; 14:6, Acts 4:12, Rom. 3:21-26, 1 Tim. 2:5-6). Without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb. 11:6). Faith in God gives us the ability to partner with Him through the power of the Holy Spirit in communicating His Word and will to a lost and dying world (Matt. 21:20, Mk. 11:22-24, Lk. 1:37, 2 Cor. 5:7, Jm. 2:14-26).
Sanctification
Sanctification is to be set apart from what is evil to be dedicated to God (Rom. 12:1,2, 1 Thess. 5:23, Heb. 13:12). The Scriptures teach a life of "...holiness without which no man shall see the Lord" (Heb. 12:14). Sanctification, obtained by the believer through their new identification in Christ as children of God, is afforded to them by Jesus' death and resurrection. A daily renewal of one's faith allows for the continuation of the dominion of the Holy Spirit within the believer (Romans 6:1-13; 8:1-2,13, Gal. 2:20, Phil. 2:12,13, 1 Peter 1:5).
Glory
All things exist for the glory of God (Ps. 148, Prov. 16:4, Isa. 61:3, Rom. 11:33-36, Eph. 1:3-14, 1 Cor. 10:31, 2 Cor. 5:15).
